Films have - throughout the course of my life - shaped me in a multitude of ways. Watching Luke Skywalker and James Bond convincingly achieve feats of greatness sparked my passion to create memorable characters that tell impactful stories.

Before I knew that this was a creative outlet that needed nurturing, I found myself conducting deep analyses of the story structure, character arcs, shot composition and visual grammar of the films I’d see and would discuss these topics with anyone who’d care to listen. These discussions gradually evolved into the makings of a rudimentary film review channel on YouTube.

The posters featured here acted as the thumbnail for each video on the channel as well as the Instagram post to drive traffic to the video. Using a consistent colour palette, vector-based illustrations and simple subjects, I visualised the concepts based on my own personal interpretation of the film in question.

I have since stopped the channel but my love for film has only grown.
