In my spare time and in an effort to constantly improve my skill set and hone my technical abilities, I take on additional freelance work that is often very different and creatively explorative to the corporate content I create.

One such case is a Facebook advertisement for Supa Mac, a small but burgeoning workshop in the north of Cape Town. Not wanting to go the route of traditional film, Frik, the client, wanted something eye-catching and engaging that highlighted the flat-rate structure of his operation. The character in question is modelled on him and the animation style is energetic, playful and inviting.
