In 2018, Prudential Investment Managers released the third TV commercial of their “Consistency is the only currency that matters” campaign. It features Jadav Paying, native to the Majuli Islands of eastern India and his incredible story of saving his island home from reclamation attempts of the Brahmaputra River by planting over 1 500 acres of trees over the course of 35 years. He is affectionately known as the “Forest Man of India”.
As part of the campaign, I was tasked with designing an infographic that could act as supplementary content to the TV commercial. It contains snippets of information relating to Jadav’s story that supports and enhances the impact of the narrative providing context to the truly unbelievable feats he accomplished in order to meet his objective of planting a tree everyday.
